Meritan Low Vision Services
Whether you or someone you love suffers from age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, or other vision impairment, help is available. Click Here to learn more about Meritan's Low Vision Works.

Meritan delivers health, social & support services for individuals and families living with the effects of aging, vision loss, blindness, and disabilities. And...we're finding families for children in need.

Meritan teaches people how to live with the Effects of Blindness.

Meritan teaches:

• Orientation & Mobility - knowing where you are, where you want to go and how to get there
• Handling daily activities - cooking, cleaning, laundry, using the phone, managing money...
• Braille - for safety, public places, reading, etc.

This service is critical to people of all ages.  We even work with the school systems.

Meritan also works with your local support group, "VISIONS."

Meritan Focuses on Awareness, Collaboration

Meritan's Annual Report is now available online on the Reference Materials page. It was a pretty good year for a 50th Anniversary. The report is a single page so it is easy to view or print.
