Brenda's Personal Story as a Family Caregiver!

Brenda Dary is a family caregiver for her cousin. She hired Meritan for her cousin for our in-home personal care services in 2007. Brenda’s cousin, who is 88 years old, is bedridden, feeds through a feeding tube, legally blind, and is non-verbal. Meet Scott Walkup, Meritan's Board Member

Meet our Board Member, Scott Walkup. He works for the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning & Development as the Administrator for the Shelby County Department of Housing. The Department provides critical affordable housing resources including down payment assistance loans, lead-based paint hazard reduction services and housing rehabilitation, financing for affordable housing development and support for large scale community initiatives like Resilient Shelby.
