The Mid-South’s only Supportive Independent Living Home for young adult women transitioning out of foster care opened in July. Meritan’s program, in conjunction with Tennessee’s DCS, aims to help three occupants living jointly in the conditional, rent-free home, become better equipped to navigate the challenges of society, including finances, thrown at them at once.
