Whether your challenges are due to age or health, Meritan’s in-home personal care services can help keep you living independently in your own home.

Meritan staff will come to your house, apartment, or independent living facility to provide you with the extra care you need. Our In-Home Personal Care services (sometimes called eldercare-at-home, non-medical/personal care/personal assistance or home and community-based services), provide support and assistance with everyday tasks such as eating, dressing, toileting, light housework, or grocery shopping.

All Meritan staff have been through strict background checks and receive numerous hours of training before being matched with their client(s).

Meritan also follows all CDC and local department of health guidelines to help mitigate the spread of illness.

Services:

  • Personal Care Visits - We can help you to get started in the morning, around during the day, to bed in the evening including bathing, dressing, making meals, or using the restroom.

  • Attendant Care - Our staff member can offer care and assistance for longer periods of time.

  • Homemaker Services - We help with household chores to let you live more independently. We can do your laundry, clean and help organize easier living.

  • In-Home Respite Care - We can relieve the family/caregiver for several days at a time.

Payment:

  • Private Pay - Meritan keeps your costs fair and accepts payment by check or credit card.

  • TennCare CHOICES - Meritan provides CHOICES services as well as its Community Living Supports (CLS) services through the Managed Care Organizations of BlueCross BlueShield, Amerigroup, and United Healthcare.
