Kathy Swinney began her career with Meritan in 2014 as the Foster Care Program Director for Tennessee. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Delta State University and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. Prior to working at Meritan, she was a Case Manager Supervisor for Omni Visions.

Kathy has over 12 years of experience working in both Child Welfare and Foster Care in Mississippi, Georgia, and Tennessee. She has a passion for working with children. Kathy believes that every child deserves a forever family and finds it equally rewarding in helping children reach permanency.
