Tammy Pierce

Development and Corporate Outreach

Tammy Pierce began her career at Meritan in August 2000 as a Human Resource Generalist. In 2008, she was promoted to Director of Development Compliance, and in 2014, her role expanded to include Corporate Outreach. Her continued leadership and impact led to her promotion in July 2018 to Associate Vice President of Development.

Tammy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in 1995. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Grant Professionals Association and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She has also served as Public Relations Co-Chair for Tennessee Community Organizations. Tammy is a 2013 graduate of the NHPO Memphis Leadership Institute and completed the New Memphis Institute Leadership Development Intensive in 2022. That same year, she was honored with the Volunteer Mississippi GIVE Award for Youth Mentoring, presented by Mississippi First Lady Elee Reeves.

Tammy is deeply involved in her community. She volunteers with her daughter's school PTO and Parent Advisory Board and coaches girls’ youth basketball and volleyball, boasting a proud 78-13 record. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Ole Miss Band Alumni Club and is active in her church. Additionally, she is a member of both the Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hernando Chamber of Commerce. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels.
