Tammy Pierce

Tammy Pierce joined Meritan in August 2000 as the Human Resource Generalist. In the spring of 2008, she was promoted to Director of Development Compliance and expanded into Corporate Outreach in the spring of 2014. In July 2018, she was promoted to the Associate Vice President of Development.

Tammy is a 1995 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She is a member of the Grant Professional Association and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.  She is a 2013 graduate of the NHPO Memphis Leadership Institute and a 2022 graduate of New Memphis Institute’s Leadership Development Intensive.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Saamarthya Foundation. She has previously served on the Parent Advisory board at Sacred Heart School and as Finance Committee Chair at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She is also a founding member of the Ole Miss Alumni Band and Mississippi Charitable Gaming Association.

In 2022, Tammy was awarded the prestigious Volunteer Mississippi Governor’s Initiative for Volunteer Excellence (GIVE Award) for Youth Mentorship. For numerous years, she volunteered to coach girls’ youth sports impacting the lives of many young ladies who still continue to play sports years later.
