Seventeen-year-old twins Davon and Tavon had been in foster care with Meritan since August 2017 and finally had their dream come true of being a part of a forever family. On Thursday morning, February 6, 2020, Big League Movers sent out two employees, Tanner and Brontavious, to perform a pro bono move for one of Meritan’s clients. The Meritan client is an elderly man who receives wrap-around care coordination from Meritan as a part of the United Way of the Mid-South’s Driving the Dream program. The client needed assistance moving his things out of his storage unit and into his apartment in Memphis. He was paying $150 per month to utilize that storage unit and needed the money to support his family.
